Projects for Hope
IN COMMUNITIES
We collaborate with communities in need of hope by co-creating music, stories and drama so that they are healed and empowered to be a voice of hope to others.
In the course of our workshops, the communities are encouraged to express themselves and create and perform original work.
At the end of the six-month program, they perform for their loved ones and friends, and visit a music studio to record the fruits of their labor.
Our workshops focus on these specific values: perseverance, diligence, dignity, joy, paying-it-forward and discipline. The communities are encouraged to reclaim their lives to the fullest through the creative process.
IN 2013, WE HAD THE FOLLOWING PROGRAMMES:
Music and storytelling workshops at Residence @ St George’s, serving a group of girls.
Music and drama workshops at Care Club, Prison Fellowship Singapore, serving children of incarcerated parents.
